HAUNTED HOUSE (May-18-5)

Passing the old broken down building,

The shattered remains of a house,

Do I dare to go in?

They say it is haunted,

But my curiosity takes over,

Into the night, I walk to the front porch,

Stepping on the rotten wood,

Grasping the rusty handle,

It Turns!...

Inside I find complete darkness,

Filled with cobwebs and strange sounds,

Silently walking around,

Then a loud thump!

Something fell from somewhere close by...

I ran trying to find my way out!

She is moving away... (May-18-5)

She is moving away,

I am shocked and left in tears,

Then I think of every day,

Together for all these years.

My best friend is gone,

I pray she won't be for too long,

I say my goodbye,

And we both start to cry.

Into the truck she is forced,

And I wave slowly sitting on her old porch,

Left there in the abandoned home I once played in each day,

Now i'm alone in it and she has gone in her separate way...

IS IT LOVE? (May-18-5)

The Kitten

The kitten sleeps,

Peacefully and quietly,

Curled up on the carpet,

Dreaming sweet dreams,

It purrs delicately and softly,

In it’s slumber,

And each catnap taken,

The kitten’s face is so pure and innocent,

Like one might imagine it to be,

The kitten sleeps,

And it is precious.

Heart of its own

My heart is torn into shreds at this time,

It cries tears of sadness because of its confused feelings,

Longing to hold onto him again,

But in my heart’s mind, this relationship is soon ending,

So inside this body, my fragile heart shudders at truth,

And is dyeing altogether at the demolition of our relationship turning into ruins….

He denied the issue, he denied and lied about saying “I love you” to a million other girls. Now he is expecting me to believe him when he says those special words to me. Never will I think he is truthful about it. I kind of feel lost in this relationship and want to feel and be “In Love.” So here’s to the night we felt alive. I put my heart on the line and now he probably wants to ditch it all. He probably wants to leave all of me behind. Logical, I am but at the same time, he isn’t. I am frozen in time. I think of his love, saying those words to many others before me. “I love you,” he says in my mind repeatedly in very slow motion. I cannot think straight. Here is to a new beginning. So hello but maybe goodbye too. I am not sure yet. Do I say those breathtaking words back to him? Do I just wait for him to be truthful? How do I know he is or is not telling the truth? I don’t know and can never be sure. I have to trust in him. My mind’s oblivious. therefore I come to conclude…..

To live a life completely,
